Created in 2007, the association's workshop-type clubs allow companies to get together and discuss important economic development issues.
The "Serious Games Rhône-Alpes" workshop
Lyon Game and the Rhône-Alpes Digital Agency have organized "Serious Games in Rhône-Alpes" workshops since 2007, with the goal of gathering together the skills and know-how of various companies active in this field. This operation has proven a real success, attracting the participation of more than 30 companies.
Today, our goals are to strengthen the program by providing member companies with in-depth commercial assistance and to promote the Serious Games cluster of the Rhône-Alpes region:
Encourage greater contact with the sector's most important clients.
Stimulate commercial innovation (preparation of the "Imaginove" program).
Organize expert presentations around given issues.
Organize competitiveness cluster meetings.
Prepare the important annual events.
The "Dematerialization" workshop
The dematerialization of the distribution of interactive content is an issue of great importance for the sector's future. It is engendering a profound modification of both the business model and content design methods. Therefore, the goal of this workshop is to assist companies through this evolutionary process rich in economic opportunities.
The "Culture Industries" workshop
The creative dimension of this industry is clear, as is the important role this medium plays in contemporary society. Within the framework of the national debates centered around the intellectual property rights applicable to the video game sector, the production tax credit and the French compte de soutien (support fund), it appears essential that companies come together to discuss and collectively define the sector's cultural contours. This workshop will act as the driving force behind this proactive reflection at the national level.
The "Young Innovative Company" workshop
Encourage initiative and stimulate spontaneous exchanges. These BarCamps centered around the sector's most important issues will allow companies to share their vision of the market.
